Edward Anthes-Washburn is the Port Director of the City of New Bedford, Massachusetts. A long-time worker in the field of fishing and maritime industry, he provides invaluable experience on the economic and development dimensions of Blue Water Metrics' work.

Caren Edwards is a Principal at BioComputing Associates. A veteran of Silicon Valley, Caren provides support for fundraising and partnership strategies. She is spearheading efforts to deploy vessel-based sensors across a variety of sectors, including in the sailing community. 

 

Bill Moomaw is Professor Emeritus of International Environmental Policy at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. The founder of Fletcher's Center for Environment and Resource Policy, Bill was a member of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change which received the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.

Doug Raymond is Product Lead for Amazon's Alexa Machine Learning program. An Army veteran, Doug has business experience with multiple startups, Google, and Amazon. He provides guidance on emerging technologies to amplify Blue Water Metrics' mission and how to leverage new data sets.

 

Thor Sigfusson is the founder of the Iceland Ocean Cluster, Codland, Collagen and several other startups in seafood related industries. Thor has published six books on subjects as different as business and salmon. He provides Blue Water Metrics with key insights on maritime industries and their contributions to our sensor network.

Admiral (Retired) James Stavridis is the Dean of the Fletcher School at Tufts University. A former Supreme Allied Commander of Europe and Commander of U.S. Southern Command, Admiral Stavridis is a renowned expert on international relations and long-term planning.
